MAKEUP MUST HAVES

When it comes it Makeup I can be very picky (My sister even branded me a "makeup snob"). Over the years I've tried and tested many different brands in order to find which products work best for my skin. I now know which brands are my go-to for new products and trust that they will be amazing. So here are my favourite makeup products of the moment that I have been using a lot recently.

THE FOUNDATION
Nars is becoming one of my favourite cosmetic lines for its amazing product quality and longevity. I use The All Day Luminous Weightless Foundation in the shade 'Syracuse' which is a perfect match as they cover a range of different skin tones. The foundation is a medium coverage which is easily layered to achieve your desired finish. The foundation doesn't budge all day so it's great for a night out as I never have to do touch-ups!

THE TINTED MOISTURIZER
I decided on a whim to purchase a tinted moisturizer for my holiday but I never thought it would be so amazing that I'd be using it daily when i came home! I use the Nars Pure Radiant Tinted Moisturizer in the shade medium 1 'St.Moritz'. I love mixing this with my Nars foundation to create the perfect amount of coverage for day wear or I'll wear it by it's self for a more natural look.
You can find Nars at Brown Thomas.

THE CONCEALER
This product is my holy grail of all concealers! Technically it's called a Skin Enhancer by Kevin Aucoin which is a HIGHLY pigmented pot of heaven. A little definitely goes a long way with this product as it is quite thick so i tend to mix it with a little bit of foundation to thin it out. This product is a Celeb Makeup Artist favourite that I've recently seen used on Kylie Jenner! I use shade number 6 and you can find this product in Space N.K on Grafton street.

THE POWDER
After Kim Kardashians Makeup artist revealed that he used this product on her a few years ago I decided to try it out for myself to see what all the hype was about. My sister had originally bought the product but found that it made her look quite ashy but it works amazing on my darker complexion. I set my whole face with this powder and use the 'Baking' method to set the under eye area. You can find Ben Nye Banana Powder here.

THE BRONZER
I'm a sucker for good packaging and Charlotte Tilbury never seems to fail! I use the Film Star Bronze and Glow to add depth and warmth to my  face. This stuff blends like a dream with a very subtle bit of shimmer to add a healthy glow. You can find this product at Brown Thomas.

THE LIPS
If your looking for an alternative to the highly in demand Anastasia Beverly Hills Lip stains then look no further. The Aqua Rouge lip stains by Makeup For Ever are completely waterproof and don't smudge one bit! Nobody likes being paranoid that their red lipstick has smudged all over their face on a night out! They are completely matte but come with a Gloss option as its double ended. I use the lighter mauve pink which is shade number 2 in the center of the lip, and then use the darker shade number 13 on the outer edges to create an ombré lip effect. You can find the Makeup For Ever Boutique on Clarendon Street or here.
